Appreciation criteria
Hand (repair) value and parts pricing:
The process of calculating labor wages and pricing of spare parts depends on the average public wages at the level of repair centers and parts suppliers that guarantee the quality and safety of the vehicle after repair. The piece is repaired if its damage is minor and superficial, and it can be repaired and a thin layer of putty added, which does not affect the quality of the piece if required, and in this case only repair fees are calculated. And the part should be replaced if the damage is significant, or the repair may affect the following characteristics:
- Quality
- Safety
- Dimensions of the piece
The replacement parts are chosen according to the following criteria, in a manner that preserves the rights of all parties
Pick pieces have three classifications:
Firstly: The injured shall be compensated by 100% Of the value of the original parts in the following cases:
- If the damaged part did not have a previous poor quality repair.
- If there was no previous damage to any part of the piece.
Secondly: The injured shall be compensated by 50% From the value of the original parts in the deifying cases:
- If there was a previous repair of poor quality and it cannot be returned to its original condition unless changed.
- If the compensation for the victim was preceded by a value of repair wages in an assessment system and he did not repair or change (the damage remains the same).
- If the vehicle is 10 years old or more in a manner that does not conflict with the wreckage standards.
- Accessories and additions from outside the vehicle manufacturer in a manner that does not conflict with traffic regulations.
- In the event that a part is damaged, it must be replaced, and previous minor damage was found on the same part as a result of a previous accident that has not been repaired.
Third: The injured shall be compensated by 25% From the value of the original parts in the deifying cases:
- In the absence of the damaged parts during the estimation process.
- If the affected parts are commercial.
- In the event that a piece is damaged, it must be repaired, and there are significant previous damages to the same piece as a result of a previous accident that has not been repaired.
Spare parts pricing
In the damage assessment report, and after determining the required parts for the repair process, the customer must mention the required parts price and the quantity. The price of the parts should be clarified according to the basic cost of each piece separately, and the cost should be clarified after calculating the depreciation and discount percentage, if any. It is also necessary to specify the period of validity of the parts pricing, which is 60 days from the date of pricing.
Exceptions
- If the value of the piece was previously compensated in an estimation system and the customer was satisfied with its repair, the hand fee is calculated only, regardless of the condition of the piece.
- The customer shall not be compensated if he was previously compensated with the value of the piece in an estimation system and he did not repair or change it.
- If the value of parts that fall under the safety clause in the estimation system has been previously compensated and the new accident caused significant damage as a result of not changing the previous parts, 50% of the value of spare parts and hand wages will be calculated regardless of the condition of the piece.
Converting the vehicle to calculate the market value difference
- If the vehicle damage falls under any of the wreck items.
- If spare parts are not available.
- Unavailability of a vehicle agent.
- If it is 10 years old or more and it has previous repairs.
